At Best Beds & Furniture, we aim to provide you with the best possible delivery rates across New Zealand. Since delivery costs can vary significantly based on the size of your order and your location, we don't offer flat-rate shipping. Instead, we rely on a personalized approach to ensure you're getting the most cost-effective delivery option.

Here’s how it works:

  • At checkout, you will only be charged a $1 placeholder fee for delivery.
  • Once we receive your order, our team will review the details and contact you during business hours to confirm the exact delivery cost.
  • Rest assured, we are committed to offering the cheapest delivery charges available.

Note for All Deliveries:

The prices quoted online or instore are only for DOOR TO DOOR Delivery. The team will leave the item inside the first door of the house not at a specific location in the house. Assembly, Upstairs Delivery, Taking furniture away and any other scenario apart from door to door delivery will incur additional charges.

Delivery Process

We use specialized freight partners, mainly MAINFREIGHT out of Auckland deliveries. When you order, we estimate your delivery time frame based on several factors, which are regularly updated. Once your order reaches the Distribution Centre, we will contact you to schedule delivery. The day before delivery, you’ll receive a confirmation message with an estimated delivery time.


Please note:

Delays can happen due to manufacturing schedules, shipping issues, or freight delays. We appreciate your patience in these situations.

Delivery Time Frames

Delivery times depend on stock availability. For Auckland Deliveries it is usually 2 to 5 business days and maximum of 2 weeks for outside Auckland (North Island). If you need urgent delivery, please reach out to discuss the earliest delivery date possible. Products may be “In Stock” or “Out of Stock’’ based on availability.

Do You Deliver to PO Boxes?

No, we do not deliver to PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers, GPOs, Locker Bags, or RMB addresses due to the size of our products. All deliveries require a signature upon receipt.

Do You Deliver Internationally?

Currently, we only deliver within New Zealand.

What If I’m Not Home for My Delivery?

Someone over 18 must be present to accept the delivery. If no one is available:

  • Small items will be redirected to your local post office or our freight partner’s Distribution Centre.
  • Large items will need to be redelivered, which may incur a fee.

We will contact you the day before to confirm someone will be available. If you know no one will be home, please inform us as soon as possible.

Will My Items Fit Through My Door?

Ensure your items will fit through doorways, entrances, and other access points. Double-check the size of your furniture against your access points. Our in-store sales assistants can provide item dimensions to help ensure your purchase fits. Any redelivery due to inaccessibility will incur additional fees, payable before rescheduling. Whenever possible, we deliver all items together. If you want separate deliveries, extra fees will apply.

Customer Furniture Collection

Pick up is FREE from our store.
